Tyler, Texas to Cherokee, N. Carolina

Have seen a couple of articles within the last two weeks concerning gasoline shortages in western N. Carolina. We are suppose to leave in the morning. Any ideas on the best route I should take would be appreciated and also would like to hear from someone about the latest on fuel shortages in that area and in route there. Thanks a bunch.

RE: Thinking of buying a Jayco or Heartland Rig! Help

Back in July I was in the same posistion you are in. My dealer sells both the Jayco and the Heartland. Liked them both very much but finally went with the 34 RLQS. Maybe because we previously owned a Designer 32 RLTS and it served us well. Anyway, we are really satisfied with our decision. Good luck and either one will probably serve you well.

Anyone had dealings with I 35 RV Center

We are thing about consigning our RV with these folks. They are located just North of Dallas. Would like to hear your comments, pro or con, if you or your friends have ever dealt with them. Thanks in advance.

RE: Seneca with 235 MH Transmission

Thanks for the reply Paul. I have a 2008 brochure which says that it has the 1000 in it. Don't know if this is still correct or if the 2350 is an option. Sure would like to have the 2350 if available. I have not had the opportunity to call a dealer to find out--but maybe next week. Thanks again.

Seneca with 235 MH Transmission

Sometime ago I read a post that said something about the Seneca would be available with a the 2350 MH Allison transmission in place of the 1000. Could anyone provide me any information on this subject? I don't seem to be able to find the post, but I am interested in knowing if this option is available.

RE: downsizing from A to C - what do you think?

I am in the process of trying to sell my 07 Class A DP so that I can order a new Seneca. The Class A I own is 37' and the Seneca is about the same, however I think I would really like the feel of driving the Class C better and perhaps my wife would also drive it some. Like Bill, I also like the "serviceability" of the Kodiak chassis. Lost of things I will miss about the Class A, but just think the Class C will fit my needs a little better. Hate to take the whipping I am going to receive on this almost new DP, but have had to take them before so I am experienced. Hope you find just the unit you are looking for and if you trade for a C, let us hear what you think about the transition.
